With reference to Mr Merivale's letter of the 25th
of April 1850, I am directed by the Duke of Newcastle to acquaint you
that it appears from the Board

some oversight on the part of the Storekeeper of Henry Hory

has been stated that the
Agreement entered into with
Mr ditt Hibbett, who was
appointed Junior of
Works for the year 1856/7, was assigned before the
expiration of three years,
make such repay much time his engagement was brought
to an end in consequence of the duties of his office
having
been to onerous
that they could eat be
